Blair's solution

On ITV this morning, ex PM, Tony Blair suggested that a second referendum would be one solution to the problem facing Mrs May's Brexit deal. He admitted that the people did know what they were voting for at the referendum but that it was the politicians in Parliament who had failed to reach a consensus on the means of leaving. Blair's solution is to refer the problem back to the people who already know where they are going; forward, rather than those politicians with their backs to the sun content to stare at their shadows in the past.
Surely it is incumbent on the politicians to fulfill the clearly expressed wishes of the people. They should get on with it; its been long enough.
